After what land is claimed and land deeds are received in return, one has the option to survey the claimed land.
Surveying a plot gives information on its:
After a plot has been surveyed, all information about it is known, including its location already known from the process of claiming your deeds.
Important probabilities and guarantees for surveying land:

The market value of every plot will likely reflect its characteristics, while before surveying, it is the uncertainty that keeps all land claims at the same price (much like unopened packs).
When surveying your land, it is important to select the Starter Packages you deem appropriate (before surveying!).
