The 3rd main edition created and released by the Splinterlands team, the Untamed edition follows almost two months after the Beta edition packs were sold out in October 2019.

1.5 million packs were sold for the Untamed edition. Some are still available on secondary markets like Hive-Engine and Atomic Hub.

71 completely new cards were included in this edition and a wave of new abilities was added compared to the previous two editions.

It is also the first time that a new reward system incentivizes users to buy packs from the primary market, for a chance to receive special card airdrops every 100,000 packs sold, proportionally to the number of cards purchased.

Cards from the Untamed edition can be played in both Wild and Modern formats.
