Since I have been working with design as a sideline for quite some time now and enjoy designing logos in particular, I decided to make my contributions look a bit better on this platform.

This means for me that I have created a simple logo that suits me. So this logo is now part of my personal brand.

But why am I telling this?

Well because the topic of personal branding is very important nowadays and can have a direct impact on the success of a person who acts within networks and markets himself through his identity. You do not market yourself? Yes, I do. Even if you do not perceive it, you market yourself in a certain way. Maybe you write high quality content, let's say with a focus on finance, and you distribute it to the appropriate communities and platforms. At this point you have already marketed yourself. Because you have probably recognized what you have to offer potential readers, where your strengths lie and how you can represent this qualitatively. Here we have your first sales argument: you offer people input on things that interest them and thus create direct added value. You have successfully marketed yourself in this sense if you can reach the intended audience.

Admittedly, this is listed very banal and in the end, there is much more to a personal brand than positioning yourself in a niche and putting a nice logo in your contributions. And yet I dedicate this article to this visual representation.

Why? The eye eats along.

Surely you know the saying, it's old but still excellent. Because no matter how good your content is and how well you know your field - the presentation of the content always plays a role. Especially when it comes to making a first impression, this topic can be very relevant.

With a proper graphic presentation you give your mind - or your content - the opportunity to appear as professional on the outside as it ultimately is on the inside. Of course there is shit in beautiful packaging, but the described elements never work separately but always together. According to the motto; What's the point of a nice facade if everything behind it is for shit? Nothing.

But if you have a solid base and know that you do your job well, it might be worthwhile to think about how to package your contents. I'm convinced that some stylistic elements here not only provide a qualitative perception, but can also contribute to a long-term increase in recognition value. Below you can see which style elements I have put together to present my content in a more beautiful way.

A minimalist logo:

(I am simply a very big friend of negative space logos)

A simple separator for my contributions:

A template for a cover image:

My goal is to use these elements to generate a quick recognition value on this platform and thus to be more successful in the long run in terms of interaction.

So in conclusion, let me summarize once again:

If you are already content creators and have qualitative content to offer, you should ask yourself questions about the presentation of this content. How can you achieve a better presentation of your content and an increased recognition value? A decent solution to this question could have a long-term direct impact on your communicative and financial success.

Last but not least an offer from my side:

I would offer to develop a personal brand design for individual users. I'm not interested in making money with it, but simply in offering a little added value.
Therefore you should (at least roughly) correspond to this profile:

  • Already longer on this platform (at least 6+ months, gladly longer)
  • At least weekly publication
  • Engaged in the platform outside your own blog (active interaction with others)
  • Qualitative content that offers real added value (must outweigh)
  • Clear demarcation of the subject areas (someone who is moving in one or a few niches.)

Depending on the volume of requests (if there are any at all) I look what I can realize in time and which users have to be prioritized. Here I focus on the added value for the platform created by the brand. (Which Creator brings the most benefits in the long run in terms of external perception. More details will follow after I have an idea regarding the interest.
