Splinterlands BUIDL Games, We Stack Assets: 5k $GLX Stake reached

I see already that the year 2023 would be a big financial year especially for crypto investors who take the pains to build their portfolio through this crypto winter. It's interesting to have grown to understand th beauty of the bear season. Taskmaster4450 would say it's a time for new hands to buy in for the long HODL.

The success of the Splinterlands game in the last few years of its growth among other play2earn games is enough to market Splinterlands assets to more investors. From a less popular blockchain like Hive, the Splinterlands game has grown through the ranks to become a leader in the GameFi category with many variables.

From battle games, Splinterlands has ventured into sports and the tokenomics of the newly created sports gaming platform being Genesis League Sports (GLS) has been nothing short of amazing. $GLX, the governance token of GLX has been on top of the hive-engine market ranking in terms of trading volume over the last Two months.

It seems that despite the growing volume of GLX being staked, the staking APY still stands around 500%. I recently bought 1,000 GLX more to add to my holdings of the token. I had shifted my 2022 staking goal for the token severally with the massive returns it gives on daily basis.

The 1k GLX was worth around $30 at the time of the buy and it feels good to have committed that much more into the fresh sports gaming platform that would soon take the Play2earn game-iverse by storm like Splinterlands did.

The 1k GLX was staked and that brought my staking milestone to 5,000. It is just the beginning especially as development is yet to commence around the GLS platform. The next Splinterlands TownHall would feature talks about GLS and the future of the new gaming platform and how the roadmap for the year would be followed.

At $0.03, $GLX is a good buy especially as we had tasted the $3 price value at the first month of GLX launch in Hive-engine. Awesome utility like burning GLX o mint GLUSD would again spike the price of GLX in the coming weeks.

I'm sure that Splinterlands as usual in their marketing strategies would motivate an increase buy of the GLX token. Meanwhile, SPS staker are still receiving daily airdrops of GLX as additional reward for staking SPS. About 9 more months are left for the airdrop to keep coming.
