I set myself a goal and made a project out of it for the last three months of the year 2020.

The project is called

Summit 3300

The goal is

To see how much I can acquire (in BTC, as much as possible) from my current and new resources, be it online or in the real world

Read the introductory post with the guidelines

D - Scorum

Description

Scorum is a sport blogging and betting oriented platform which started over two years ago as a Steem clone. From my personal perspective, it showed a big potential at first. I am into sports and I love sports. Yet, it turned out, at least for me, that Scorum was not my choice of the blogging platform.

Why? Because the content is way too much about passive sports involvement and by far not enough about activities of the bloggers.

Also, it didn't develop at all apart from the first several months. The authors concentrated their efforts on a betting part of the platform. Too bad. I still think it has potential yet it doesn't have the needed energy to become something more than just a professional sports news and wagering site. Too bad.

OK, it was a long introduction. Read about my involvement and intent to power down what little SCR I have here - Scorum Power Down.

Interval

The power-down period is weekly for 52 weeks. As it was originally on Steem. That means it will take a long long time to get all my SCR out.

I started the power-down on Friday, October 1+the 9th, 2020. From then onward, each Friday I'll liberate a tiny amount of SCR

5,927 SCR / 52 = ~114 SCR per week

Actions

Powering down has been started.

Almost every week I'll transfer the liquid SCR to the Hotbit exchange* and sell it to ETH.

Action Today

Transfer 126.657 SCR to Hotbit*

Wait for it to arrive at the destination then sell it to ETH at the market price.

After three minutes I can make a trade.

Done! I sold 126.7 SCR at a price of 0.00002150 ETH and received 0.00272405 ETH.

With the trade a week ago I now have 0.00354086 ETH or $1.29 derived from SCR.

Outcome and Status

With seven trades done, the table with channels looks like follows.

ChannelInputIncome BTCIncome USD
0 - BTC100102.17
A - Blurt1,162.444 Blurt0.00144328 BTC
B - HBD128.094 HBD0.01118321 BTC

Grand total BTC0.01394755 BTC157.96 USD
Grand total ETH0.00354086 ETH1.29 USD

The first line which indicates BTC trading won't be included in the total since it is an index value and not an absolute number.

Next

There is an option to invest (lock for a period of time) your funds at Hotbit exchange*. Since I'll hold thus earned ETH I may invest it too. It won't be much yet it's a test to see whether bigger investments are in order.

I'll make a separate post for a planned ETH investment on Hotbit*..
