Would you be willing to Accept Crypto Payments?
More and more companies are starting to accept cryptos as a form of payment. Many of those companies have blamed altcoins in the past for being scams and generally speaking they had a negative attitude towards cryptocurrencies.
Nowadays we will a total swift because basically, they are "forced" to acknowledge it. Cryptos are here to stay and the big corporations know about it. In fact, they know the high amounts of dollars behind the crypto world and wanna dive in and take a piece of the pie.
Companies that Accept Crypto Payments
In case you may think that only a few small businesses are actually accepting cryptos, it's time for me to open your eyes. Shopify, Venmo, and Paypal are just some of those big corporations i was talking about earlier.
Not only they accept Bitcoin but PayPal for example also accepts Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin. Between us, when you got whole governments or criminal empires buying and staking cryptos, you think it would take long for the corporations to join the game?
Let's now go a step further and see if companies pay their employees with crypto.
Companies that pay their Employees in Crypto
To tell you the truth most companies that have an altcoin pay their employees with both that altcoin and fiat. Also, there are companies that are directly tied with cryptos like Coinbase or any other related one.
Coinbase for instance pays their employees with Bitcoin if they want to. Also, i remember 2 years ago, a friend of mine used to work for a company that had educational videos in many fields, like Coursera for example.
They got paid a fixed amount of bucks, a bonus depending on the views, and another fixed amount in their sort of crypto which could be used as a digital token for that platform! How cool was that?
The Big Question
Now that we unveiled everything regarding this let's see what you guys have to say about this. In our society, we got many small businesses and people living off them.
For example, in Greece, 99% of the companies are categorized as small ones so you can imagine. Would these business owners accept that kind of payment or decline?
I think that if every process was easy enough and somebody informed them, then they would accept it. At the same time, the business owners should see clients asking for that as well!
Finally, let's take it to us as individuals. If your boss said that from tomorrow you will only get paid in cryptos or a portion of your salary will be in crypto what would you do?
I, for example, wouldn't accept to get paid in cryptos except if we are talking about BTC ETH LTC, cause i want certainty. I would be more than willing and flexible to accept them as a portion of my salary though!
