I've recently been trying to quantify the environmental impact of my #hive #witness & #api node.
I've worked out that it's using roughly 8.1 watts an hour or 0.0081KW/H in CPU usage alone which is tiny really.
The Reddit's Twitter following with the API limitations is quite an incident. Somehow this incident reminds of Digg.com #reddit #api
My #witness and #api node is about 60% synced. Still got to configure endpoints and reverse proxy stuff.
